I've been away for a while... business travel, hiring people for Palamida, just getting busier...one of the hazards of blogging. A quick observation from my travels - the level of awareness and interest in actively managing IP integrity is growing quickly. I had suspected it might be centered mostly with ISVs for a while, but it seems clear now that equipment manufacturers are serious (they should be, given the amount of software in most devices), and enterprise IT groups are kicking off projects as well.
This article quoting IDC tends to confirm what I see directly...that the issue of IP integrity has hit the radar screens of IT organizations, and they are looking to software vendors as primary stakeholders in terms of managing this issue.
On another topic...we're a sponsor of OSCON, August 1-5 in Portland. I'll be there along with others from the Palamida crew, and we would enjoy meeting any of you who are there as well.
Is Palamida going to include Verilog IP in its database?

I like the writing structure of your blog and it does a pretty decent job of presenting the material.
