Growing up...

I have a 15 year old who just got her drivers learning permit, and it is a very strange experience for me to watch her drive off (with her mom). Seems like just a short time ago...

Sort of the similar with the world of open source software in the enterprise...not that long since we thought of linux and apache as a great combo for orgs on a budget. There is a dana gardner blog entry today which is just more evidence of the increasing maturity and enterprise-readiness. Seems increasingly inevitable that there will be more OSS drivers on the road.
